Air Disinfectant Machines Arriving Soon

As New Zealand’s Antari distributor, Edwards is imminently awaiting the arrival of a first shipment of Antari air disinfection machines for infection control in both residential and commercial settings.

Antari, is a world renowned company that has been manufacturing quality special effect products such as smoke machines since 1984. Antari’s R&D expertise, including an in-house team of engineers and designers, along with modern production facilities, and strict attention to detail swiftly saw the company expand into pest control, industrial humidity control, horticulture, and the sterilization of sensitive places such as hospitals and healthcare locations.

Antari’s air disinfectant machines use a fog disinfection process. This involves fogging the entire space with the recommended FLD-05 chemicals to provide proper disinfection of surface areas, touch-points, and equipment. It is highly effective for infection control in homes, businesses, and sensitive spaces such as hospitals and healthcare locations, retail showrooms, waiting rooms, rest homes and reception areas.

The air disinfectant machines can be used wherever there have been confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19, or as a preventative measure.

Independent tests confirm a 99.99 percent killing efficacy against germs like Rhinovirus Type 37 (common cold), MRSA, H1N1 influenza, SARS, HIV-1, E. coli and Salmonella. There are no samples of Covid-19 coronavirus available for testing and labs are too busy, but as SARS-Cov-1 is also a member of the Coronavirus family, it is highly likely that the fog disinfectant will be effective at killing SARS-CoV-2, the Coronavirus which causes the COVID-19 disease.

The anti-viral disinfectant Antari antiviral foggers use, Thymol, is also explicitly listed on the US EPA website as effective against SARS-CoV-2.
